If you are new to Clarity or Groovi, then you may not know what the Picot Dies & Groovi plates are all about – let me explain.

Picot Cutting is a technique used in Parchment craft. Normally, you would perforate the area along a solid line with a 2 Needle Tool and then using special scissors (Exclusive, Ringlock or Perga Cutters), snip between the perforations to create the Picot finish

The Picot dies create the same effect with one pass of the die through your die cutting machine and when used in conjunction with the Groovi plate, you can add the single or double line to give it the professional look, quickly and easily allowing you to concentrate on your artwork.

You can also achieve the “picot” look on paper and card using the dies as well, so they are not just for parchment craft!
